Use the pen tool to draw freehand lines and shapes. Pen types available vary between platforms.
In Whiteboard for Windows
- Click the pen icon in the main toolbar. You can now:
- Write on the canvas.
- Click the pen icon again for more options (shown below).
- Click one of the 3 colored dots above the pen to quickly switch colors.
Pen types in Whiteboard for Windows:
The default pen tool is the marker. Use this to draw lines, click twice to change color, transparency, and size.
The paint brush has a slightly different style with similar functionality.
Use the highlighter to emphasize text or other objects with opaque marks.
The laser pen draws lines like the highlighter tool. However, lines are not persistent and disappear whenever the laser pen draws another line. This is useful to temporarily bring attention to a specific piece of the presentation, similar to a laser pointer.
The AI pen tries to guess the drawing, and displays images based on the guess.
Instead of a solid line, the shape pen leaves a line of images for its strokes. Add custom images from FollowMe settings.
The Magic Line pen acts like a "background" reveal tool. Add custom images from FollowMe settings.
In Whiteboard for Android
The pen in Whiteboard for Android is similar to Whiteboard for Windows, however with fewer options:
In Classroom and Whiteboard Online
In Classroom and Whiteboard Online the pen is different to that in Whiteboard for Windows and Whiteboard for Android.
