Form perception is the recognition of visual elements of objects, specifically those to do with shapes, patterns, and previously identified important characteristics. 
<br> By studying shapes, children learn so many skills that help them in other curriculum areas including reading, math, science, art, and visual-spatial thinking. 
<br>In the United States, national education standards for kindergarten include geometry skills such as identifying, describing, analyzing, comparing, creating and composing shapes.
<br>We designed four files of learning shapes [[myViewBoard_Original_Content|myViewBoard Originals]] from giving preschoolers lots of practice with shapes helps them solidify their understanding of the 2D structures and up to middle school students an insight of learning cross-section of 3D shapes.
