myViewBoard Extension for Chrome

myViewBoard extension for Chrome browser lets users access many features from myviewboard.com from their Chrome or chromium-based browser. Features include:

  • send and receive screens (wireless screensharing)
  • Whiteboard remote control
  • web marker (draw over webpages)

Download the extension from the chrome web store here: myViewBoard extension.


Install myViewBoard chrome extension

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Go to myViewBoard extension chrome page, or search for myViewBoard Chrome extension.
  3. Click Add to Chrome.
  4. Click Add extension.


Tip: You can then open the myViewBoard extension by clicking the puzzle icon   next to the URL bar of chrome. Pin the myViewBoard extension so it always appears in the Chrome toolbar by clicking  ..



Icons and features

 
Send your screen to a Whiteboard
Share your screen to a Whiteboard using Wireless Presentation.
 
Receive a Whiteboard on your screen
Receive a Whiteboard screen using Wireless Presentation.
 
Whiteboard Remote Control
Remotely change pages and control Wireless Presentation in Whiteboard. Opens in a new window.
 
FollowMe settings
Go to your personal FollowMe settings to customize your Whiteboard.
 
Go to settings for third-party cloud integration.
 
Edit Account
Go to your general settings for your account.
 
Web marker
Draw over pages in chrome browser. Customize color, size, and transparency, Click eraser or trashcan to delete. Click pencil icon again to hide drawings (click again to show).
 
Home
Go to myviewboard.com (opens in a new tab).
 
Sign Out
Sign out from chrome extension (Whiteboard session will not be affected).


Draw over webpages

To draw over webpages in Google Chrome using the myViewBoard extension:

  1. Click the myViewBoard extension.
  2. Click the   pencil icon.
    1. Click the pen icon to begin drawing.
    2. Change color by clicking the square icon, and size by dragging the slider.
    3. Use the eraser to remove strokes, or the trashcan to delete all.
    4. Click the screenshot icon to open a screenshot of the current view in a new page.
    5. Click the pointer to interact with the page using the normal mouse behavior.
  3. Hide drawn strokes by clicking the   pencil icon again.


The pen marks move with page scrolling, however zooming and resizing the browser window may interfere with pen line positions on the page.
