The ruler is one of the tools available in Whiteboard for Windows and Whiteboard for Android from the Magic Box. The ruler can be expanded or rotated. Click and drag along the numbers to draw a straight line along the edge. Change the units in the Whiteboard settings. This can be used on the Whiteboard canvas or over the Windows desktop in desktop mode in Whiteboard for Windows.
Add a ruler to the canvas
- On the main toolbar, click the Magic Box
icon.
- In the Magic Box window, click the Tools
icon.
- Double-click or drag the ruler icon
from the list of icons to add to the canvas.
Actions
Click and drag the ruler in middle to move it around the canvas.
Click and drag the ruler either at left or right side to extend it.
Click and drag the Ruler either at the top or bottom to rotate.
The current angle is shown by the icon.
Click the icon to swap the upper and lower scale unit.
Move the mouse or your finger along the top or bottom edge to draw a line.
Click the icon to close the ruler tool.
