View source for Magic Box Ruler

The ruler is one of the tools available from the [[Magic Box]]. The ruler can be expanded or rotated. Click and drag along the numbers to draw a straight line along the edge. Change the units in the myViewBoard settings.


==Launching the Ruler==

To access this tool, perform the following:

# On the main toolbar, click the [[Magic Box]] icon.
# On the Magic Box toolbar, click the Tools icon.
# Double-click or drag the ruler icon from the list of icons. 
# The tool is inserted on the canvas.

Click and drag the ruler in middle to move it around the canvas.

Click and drag the ruler either at left or right side to extend it.

Click and drag the Ruler either at the top or bottom to rotate.<br>
The current angle is shown by the [[file:MB_Ruler_Degree.png|25px]] icon.

Click the [[file:MB_Ruler_Flip_Scale_Unit.png|25px]] icon to swap the upper and lower scale unit.

Move the mouse or your finger along the top or bottom edge to draw a line.



Click the [[file:MB_Ruler_Close.png|25px]] icon to close the ruler tool.
