myViewBoard handles certain file types differently:
- Imported text files (
.txt
) are placed in text boxes. Double-click the textbox to edit the content. - To ensure that
.txt
files containing special characters import correctly, use UTF-8 encoding. - For document (
.docx
) and PDF files, pages are converted into images and are placed in the middle of the canvas. These images are locked by default and cannot be moved. Click the lock icon to unlock the image. - For documents with multiple pages, myViewBoard creates a new canvas page for each page in the document. To verify if all pages were imported correctly:
- - Click the page icon to view all pages.
- - Use the Next and Previous icons on the Floating Toolbar to navigate each canvas page.
- For PowerPoint files (
.pptx
), myViewBoard displays the following import options:
- - Foreground - same behavior for other document files. Each page is imported as an object that can be manipulated on the canvas.
- - Background - myViewBoard sets the PowerPoint file as a background that fills up the whole application window. User cannot interact with the background except zoom in/out.
Use the Next and Previous icons on the Floating Toolbar to cycle through each canvas page.
- myViewBoard for Android does not support opening PDF files with more than 50 pages.
