Whiteboard for iOS is available for ARM-based M1 chip iPads and Macs.

Whiteboard is available for Android, Windows, and iOS/macOS, but please note the Windows version supports more features. All ViewBoard IFPs and myViewBoard Box devices come preinstalled with Whiteboard for Android. The Whiteboard for iOS version is a recent addition, with steady improvements incoming. All versions of Whiteboard can be downloaded for free after signing into myviewboard.com.

Note on Magic Box feature availability across Whiteboard versions

Whiteboard for Windows supports the most features. It offers more tools found within Tools, and it also supports Online Widgets and Polls, whereas the other versions of Whiteboard do not.
Whiteboard for iOS is a recent addition, and as such, features are still being developed for it to match the feature set of the other two versions of Whiteboard. Additionally, some of its features, such as Pop Quiz, offer an enhanced user experience.

	Magic Box Camera¹ Click the Camera icon to use your device camera, and insert the picture directly onto the whiteboard. Icon is not displayed in the Android version of Whiteboard if no camera is connected to the host device.
	myViewBoard Clips² Click the icon to browse curated, safe, and certified educational videos.
	YouTube Click the icon to browse YouTube videos. Drag and drop the videos onto the whiteboard.
	Image Search Click the image icon to safely search the web for images, and drag and drop them onto the canvas.
	Online Widgets Click the icon to browse animated widgets for a variety of themes.	Not available
	Throw¹ Click the icon to browse documents that participants have shared with the whiteboard session. Participants can do this via myviewboard.com - learn more about Throw here.
	Pop Quiz¹ Click the icon to create a quiz, which participants can answer from their devices. The teacher can view answers from this icon.
	Polls¹ Click this icon to create: multiple choice, true or false, rating, free response, voting, or random draw polls. Answers can be saved for future reference.	Not available

Magic Box in Classroom: similar to Whiteboard online with some extra features.

Classroom is a distance and hybrid learning solution available for myViewBoard Entity account types. It is fully browser based and requires no software download for teachers or students. Whiteboard (online) is a lightweight version of Classroom without classroom management features.

Icon	Description
	This PC Open files from your device.
	Google Drive Import resources from your connected Google Drive account. For multi-page files, each page is inserted into its own canvas page.
	OneDrive & OneDrive for Business Import resources saved from your connected OneDrive account. For multi-page files, each page is inserted into its own canvas page.
	Images Safely search for images from the web. To insert, drag an image onto the canvas.
	Polls (Classroom)¹ Create a quiz with True or False or Multiple Choice answer options.
	myViewBoard Clips² Insert curated, safe, and certified educational videos.
	YouTube Search for YouTube videos. To insert, drag a video onto the canvas. Switch to presentation mode (bottom-left icon) to have the option to play the video.
	Web page Embed a web page or a web page link onto the canvas. Switch to presentation mode to browse the page or open it in a new tab.
	Widgets^1,³ Animations that users can insert onto the canvas. In present mode, users can click on an object to trigger an animation.
	Sketchfab^1,³ Browse millions of 3D models. Let students explore models at their own pace in present mode.
	Assessments^1,³ Create Assessments to be delivered during a lesson with multiple choice, short answer, and essay response options.
	Tools^1,³ Collection of advanced interactive lesson elements like Ladder Shuffle, Dice, Ruler, and more to come.

Supported file types

Whiteboard and Classroom can display files from your device (such as your computer or interactive flat panel running Whiteboard), and from your cloud storage. Simply Open the Magic Box and click the first icon (file icon).
