Whiteboard Adorning Menu

Selecting an object using the select tool / will show the adorning menu next to that object.

Options in this menu change depending on the type of object selected.

In Whiteboard for Windows/Android/iOS

These options are available for all objects.

	Fade In present mode, click the object to fade in or out.		Spin Object spins before stopping.
	Lock Lock the select object to prevent accidental movement. To unlock, click the object and click the Lock icon again.		Movable Lock Enable to move objects without triggering the Adorning menu.
	Cut Cuts the selected object. Use the Paste icon in the floating toolbar to paste.		Link Add clickable link to a file, website, text, audio file, page, or tool.
	Copy Copies the selected object. Use the Paste icon in the floating toolbar to paste.		Drag a copy Click and drag to create a copy of an object. To deactivate, click the same icon in the bottom left of the object.
	Mirror object Creates a flipped copy of the selected object.		Flip object Flips the selected object along the selected axis.
	Delete Delete the object from the canvas		Group Groups the selected objects. Grouped objects move together.

Most options are available for both shapes and lines. Note that some options are available for specific shapes only.

	Line thickness Adjust line thickness using a slider.		Opacity Set transparency of object fill/interior.
	Color Change the color of the selected lines or text.		Color fill Change the fill color of an object.
	Inner circle Add a circle inside of the shape.		Outer circle Add a circle on the outside of the shape.
	Segments Divide a shape into equal segments, based on the vertices of the shape. For circles you can choose the number of 'slices'.		Combine shapes Merges the multiple selected shapes into a single shape.
	Pie or arc Convert a circle into a pie or arc object.		Show measurements Show lengths and angles of a shape or line object. Click a measurement to show/hide.

These options are available for images inserted into the canvas.

	Save object Save the selected image, video or audio file to the local hard drive or cloud storage.		Remove color Removes a specific color in an image.
	Fit to screen Resizes the selected image to fill the whole screen.		Crop image Remove parts of the selected image.
	Set as background Sets the selected image as the canvas background.

Layers are available for all objects, except for lines drawn by the pen tool.

	Layer Control the stacking order of objects.		Notes overview Collects all notes in a pop-out window, with options to sort by color.
	Bring to front Move the selected object to the first layer.		Send to back Move the selected object to the last layer.
	Bring forward Move the selected object one layer up/forward.		Send backward Move the selected object one layer down.

These options are available for all objects.

	Delete Delete an object from the canvas.		Duplicate Duplicate an object.
	Copy Copy an object. Use the Paste icon in the Classroom management toolbar to paste the same object.		Lock Lock the selected object to prevent accidental movement. To unlock, click the object and click the Lock icon .
	Moveable Lock Enable moving objects without triggering the Adorning menu.

Most options are available for both shapes and lines. Note that some options are available for specific shapes only.

Stroke Color
Adjust the color of lines, whether on a hand-drawn stroke or on shapes/lines.

Fill
Set the color filling a shape or a table's cells.

These options are available for images inserted into the canvas.

	Fit Screen Resizes the selected image to fill the whole screen.		Set as Background Sets the selected image as the canvas background.
	Fit to Screen Trim an image to a selected area.

These options are available other special objects.

Edit
Edit the settings of objects like Ladder Shuffle or Dice.

Immersive Reader
For text fields, turn on the immersive reader feature.

Layers are available for all objects.

	Layers Open options for stacking the order of objects.		Bring to Front Move the selected object to the top layer.
	Send to Back Move the selected object to the last layer.		Bring Forward Move the selected object one layer up/forward.
	Send Backward Move the selected object one layer down/backward.
