Classroom
Classroom is an online browser-based education platform within the myViewBoard Ecosystem. It is a flexible tool that can be used in distance learning, hybrid learning, and traditional learning scenarios with physically present participants.
Teachers using Classroom can make use of a versatile digital whiteboard, prepare and deliver lessons, import existing lesson materials, manage groups of students, use the built-in video and audio sharing functionality, share and record their screen, present slides, see whether students are viewing the lesson on their devices, and assign individual students or groups of students their own working canvases. There is also built-in cloud support for file storage, and access to YouTube and myViewBoard Clips.
Students can join Classroom sessions without creating an account by entering the teacher's unique ID on the website, or by following the URL given to them. Students can view the teacher's presentations and digital content, draw on the canvas (if enabled by the teacher), participate in group work, receive the teacher's video and audio, and can use the Raise Hand function to unobtrusively notify the teacher when they have a question. There is also a chat, grouped by whole class and student groups known as huddles.
